Last night the streets of London were overtaken by more than 1000 Muslims chanting “Allah Akbar” and demanding an Islamic caliphate.

Although it might sound a bit bigoted, the question where are the peaceful Muslims is a valid one. Over time, terrorist acts, riots, shooting and anything which involves Islamic Fundamentalist terrorism happens, the public is all over again bombarded with the same old line:

“This action does not speak for Islam as a whole. Islam is a religion of peace.”

If you ask the majority of people from America, this lie is older and bigger than the lie of the liberals “I am with the government and I am here to help.”Although it is true that it is unfair to paint a group with a wide brush, it is also unfair to the rest of the people to put a “blind eye” to the danger that a specific group poses.

More than 1000 Muslims took the London street outside the American embassy in Grosvenor Square, London. The street was closed as it was filled with protesters and Islamic leaders calling for punishment of America over Aleppo.

During the speeches of the Islamic leaders which lasted for an hour, the crowd cheered for those who called on a global caliphate such as the poet who shouted “We need a Caliph who will clean up these streets. Who will smack up armies and who will back beef [fighting]. “Backhand your missiles back to your land; that’s the plan. World domination at hand. We can expand and take out these fools.”

The majority of the crowd was Muslim men and women and a few protesters were seen waving a Taliban flag with some other placards made by Hizb ut-Tahrir Britain which are calling for the re-establishment of a caliphate.

A Saudi-trained Salafist Muslim by the name of Haitham al-Hadad congratulated the crowd on amassing so quickly in large numbers by saying: “This gathering today – in a matter of a few hours, hundreds of brothers and sisters coming together – is a sign of positivity and revival and a sign of victory for Allah.”

The director of the Muslim rights group Cage, Asim Cureshi laid the blame for this situation in Aleppo at America’s hands by saying: “Never forget who the problem here is.”

“When they say ‘look, America is the one who is going to come and help you in this,’ then we have to remind them. Go back to the beginning of the war on terror when we were investigating cases of individuals being put on rendition flights to Syria where they had the soles of their feet beaten by the Syrian regime the moment they arrived in prison. “And who sent them there? The Americans, the CIA.”

The reports:

The protest blocked lanes of traffic when it got underway at around 9 pm on Tuesday night. Motorists were forced to find alternative routes as the protest got underway. The embassy was under heavy security in preparation for the event, with U.S. Marines and London Metropolitan Police in Riot Gear watching the crowd while a prayer session got underway outside the embassy
